Authorities say a 32-year-old woman is dead
after crashing her car into a tree near Montana City southeast of
Helena.
Shaun Gardner, Jefferson County's deputy coroner, says Kimberly
Morse of Anaconda died at the scene Sunday night. She was wearing a
seat belt and had to be extricated from her vehicle.
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Cale Lang says Morse was
traveling west on Secondary Highway 518 at about 8 p.m. Sunday when
her car went off the road and struck a tree. No other vehicles were
involved and road conditions were clear and dry.
Authorities have not yet determined whether speed or alcohol
played a role.
